After a gait analysis orthoses can be made to a specific prescription to correct abnormalities and improve function. We use a number of different methods to analyze a patient’s gait. The TOG gait scan system is often used in our clinic.
As each patient is different, they will require a different solution to their problem, therefore. We also take molds of the patient feet and develop a suitable prescription depending on the individual requirements of the patient.
Orthoses help to reduce stress on the feet, knees, hips, and lower back during everyday activities like walking, running, cycling, and even standing.
